I came home from the states just to have this party because I love all my blockmates. Thanks to Richard and Dennis, they made sure that the venue was ok and to set-up the surprise of my parents because they didn't know that I am coming home for Christmas!

The party was held at CityBest Seafood Garden along Tomas Morato on my birthday, December 18. No one knew that I was there except for Richard, Dennis, and Reggie so I hope you guys were surprised to see me! As always, the party should've started at 7:00 pm but since we are in the Philippines, it started a few minutes past 8 pm. Almost everyone came except for Marlou, Marilen, Paolo and Aileen (I think they eloped), Oton (kailangan daw umaga ang party para makapunta siya), Marianne, Annabel (nasa Davao yata), Nicole (birthday ni Enzo kaya d nakapunta), and Peter (nasa Cebu daw siya on that day).

The hostess for the night was Michelle Calamba-Salta and she did a great job! The parents said you were really funny and a good host! Thanks again Michelle! The first part of the program was the introduction of each and everyone because my special guests, the parents of my students in Lasal Zobel, were there at my party. After that, my favorite part of the night started...EATING!!! It was an 8-course Chinese lauriat which was really delicious (possibly because of the hight content of monosodium glutamate). Good thing I didn't go to the restroom to do some 'deposit' after the heavy eating or else people will surely smell it from the outside! While dinner was being served, the greetings from our overseas friends like Nelson, Katy, and Benj was played on the projector but I don't think anyone understood what they said because we were busy eating the fried rice, steamed garlic prawns, shark's tail soup, crabs, etc.

After dinner, we played several games, hosted by the great game master Reggie Alto. Thank you Jean for bringing the chocolates as prizes as the parents really liked the Toblerones! Congrats to Roes for winning the 'complete the sentence' game because she completed the other 3 dwarfs of Cinderella (not sure if I got it correct coz I don't read fairy tales during my younger days, I only really chemistry books).

Awards were given to Mei and Raul for the earliest birds while Michelle Reyes-Oronce and yours truly bagged the Stars of the Night because of our Famas-looking clothes.

The cake I blew was from Estrel's, it was a caramel cake and it was suuuuppppeeerrr yummy! Everyone liked it and at the end of the party, our classmates became piranhas coz they were in a frenzy to take home a piece of the cake and the food leftovers! According to a very reliable source, Caths took home 2 styros of the cake kaya pala walang naiuwi si Richard!

When I thought the party was finished, Richard surprised everyone with a video he made! At first, I thought it was about the block but I was really shocked that it was about me! The Untold Story! I was really touched because of the effort he did and to all those in the video for taking the time out in saying good (and bad) things about me pero it was a very very good movie! CLAP CLAP CLAP!!! I shed some tears and I'm sure no one saw me coz it was dark, good thing! I will forever cherish the video and hope it will be sold in Quiapo so that I will become famous like Amos! Special thanks to Marcia (for coming maski wala si Benj), Max, Tina, Nelson, Katy, and Benj for your time so that you will be included in the video, nakakatawa kayo especially Max and Benj!

The last part of the party was my 15-minute speech and it was unprepared, probably that's the reason why the speech was lllooonnnggg, sorry guys. It was my first birthday celebration with my close friends and now you know why I did not treat you all during our college days coz I was saving up for this special day...
